The LC350 Polar Plunge

LC350 launched the celebrations with the first ever official Polar Plunge in Little Compton.
The event took place 12:00PM January 1, 2025, at Sakonnet Harbor. Air temp was 48 degrees. Water temp - 36 degrees Fahrenheit!

Beth Ryan and Phil Warren of the LC350 Committee were the co-chairs of the event. The event could not have taken place without the commitment, dedication, and enthusiasm from the Little Compton Fire Department, Police Department, Rescue, plunging participants, and their supportive friends and family cheering from the shore.

Following the LC350 Polar Plunge at the Harbor the Little Compton Community Center hosted all participants to hot beverages and delicious warm soup provided by Blount Fine Foods. Additional thanks to Laurie Petraca, Jeff Assize, Ronnie King, and the Sakonnet Times for not only covering the event but participating in it too.
